Who made what, what the price covers, safety information
This is not a single product of our making. The display is its manufacturer's stock module, we do not touch the hardware and only load our firmware onto it. We do not assemble the items for you, they arrive separately. What we make is the case and the software. Manufacturer details, safety information and specifications sit with each item, click its name.
The set price is the sum of the individual items, no discount is applied. Each item lands in the basket separately and you can drop any of them. You pick the delivery method in the next step, where its price is added.
The software is a digital licence and lands in your account right after payment. The device and the accessory are shipped.
Waveshare ESP32-S3 AMOLED
The hardware is supplied as a development board / kit (Waveshare ESP32-S3 module), not as a certified finished consumer product. We hold no declaration of conformity for the board, it carries no CE marking, and we issue none ourselves. The software for your car is bought separately and is not included in the price of the board.
It is an auxiliary display showing OBD data. It is not a vehicle safety device. Installation and use in a vehicle is at the customer's own responsibility: it must not obstruct the driver's view or airbags, must not interfere with vehicle systems, and the driver must keep full attention on driving.
A Czech manual and the statutory warranty apply.

Kryt je vyroben z plastu ASA technologií 3D tisku. Není bezpečnostním prvkem vozidla. Umístěte jej tak, aby nebránil ve výhledu z vozu ani ve funkci airbagu. Nevystavujte kryt otevřenému ohni. Frequently asked questions
What is the digital gauge and what is it for?
An add-on display for your car that shows, in real time, values your dashboard normally hides. DPF state and regeneration (burn-off), temperatures, turbo pressure, power and more. It's an auxiliary gauge; it doesn't interfere with how the car runs.
Why is it sold in parts instead of one finished device?
If we assembled it and sold it as one product, we would become the manufacturer of an in car device with everything that entails, and we are not there yet. So we sell the board and the OBD adapter as a distributor, we print the housing ourselves and the software is ours. It also works out better for you: the board, the housing and the adapter are a one time purchase, and when you change cars you only buy the licence for the new engine family.
Why does the software cost 2,499 CZK?
You are not paying to download a file. You are paying for the fact that we know where those values sit in the control unit of your engine family. For every family we track down engine codes, control units and value addresses, and in the big families there are over a hundred of them. On top of that comes the gauge firmware and the app you use to flash it. The licence then stays with your account for good, with nothing more to pay.
Which cars is it for?
Currently Audi A4 (B8.5) and VW Passat (B8) with the 2.0 TDI diesel engine. We keep adding more makes and models, which is also why we're looking for car-logging partners.
What do I need to get started?
The gauge (device), a compatible Bluetooth OBD-II adapter, a BudikStore account, and a phone with our app to load the software. We're happy to recommend an adapter.
How do I buy the software and get it onto the gauge?
Buy the software for your car in the e-shop → your licence activates automatically → sign in to the mobile app and load the software onto the gauge over WiFi with a single tap. No computer, no cables.

Which values does the gauge show?
Across several touch screens, for example: RPM, speed and selected gear; coolant, oil and exhaust-gas temperatures; DPF soot load and regeneration (burn-off); turbo pressure; live power and torque plus an acceleration timer; battery voltage, intake-air temperature, engine load, fuel level and more. The exact set depends on the car and software version.
How does it connect to the car? Any wiring or drilling?
No. It connects wirelessly via a common Bluetooth OBD-II adapter that simply plugs into the car's diagnostic socket (every car has one). No cutting wires, no electrical work.
How do updates work?
Wirelessly, straight from the app over WiFi. When we release a new version it shows up in the app and you load it just as easily as the first time.
Is it safe for the car and the warranty?
The gauge only reads data through the standard diagnostic interface and changes nothing in the control units, no chiptuning, no “DPF off”. It's an auxiliary display; you install and use it at your own responsibility and so it never obstructs your view or the airbags.
If I buy more software later, is there anything to set up?
No. Once you hold the licence, the software appears in the app automatically and you can load it onto the gauge anytime.
